Putin and Xi Jinping signed a charter on strategic cooperation between Russia and China in which Putin made the following remarks :
1. China is clearly Russia's most important trade and economic partner. Trade and economic cooperation is a priority for our relationship".
2. Russia is willing to increase its oil and LNG supplies to China and make all payments in rubles and yuan.
3. Russia helps build atomic power plants in China
4. Ukraine-Russia peace plan was also discussed
5. Putin: "Russia and China strongly oppose violating the interests of other countries to gain their own advantage."
The USA is struggling with a national debt of 31.638.000.000.000 dollar. All the central banks decided on March 20, 2023, together with the Federal Reserve to provide the necessary funds until the end of April to save the dollar. The US reserve dollar is on the whip. There is a good chance that the USA will lose its position as reserve dollar now that numerous other countries, including those of the BRIC but also Turkey and Hungary, following the European sanctions against Russia, also declared their willingness to conduct all commercial transactions in rubles.
And then Putin and Xi come to throw a little more spanner in the bath by concluding agreements among themselves that will further weaken the position of the US reserve dollar.
President Xi has stated that changes that the world has not seen in the past 100 years are imminent. What exactly is meant by this is not ( yet ) clear but it will not be a small beer.
Iran and North Korea has sided with Russia and China as so have India, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Venezuela, Mexico and all the countries of the African union. The USA, EU and Nato have every reason to be furious.Their plan has failed.
