On 26 September 2022, Russia's Nord Stream gas pipelines were blown up 0n 2 locations. Following the Biden administration, MSM initially stated that Russia had exploded the pipelines itself because it no longer wanted to supply gas to Europe which is utterly nonsense. If Russia indeed no longer wanted to supply gas it was enough to turn off the tap. That's it. It did not need to put a bomb under its billion-dollar investment. The USA went an extra mile by declaring that a Russian passport had been found in open waters, close to the explosion, so they knew with certainty that the Russians had sabotaged their own pipelines. Many believed this without thinking any further. They did not consider the fact that no sunken ship or plane had been found floating in de the surroundings of the location where the Russian passport was allegedly found, and that, people usually do not throw around their passports.
All these lies came to an abrupt end when Nobel price winner Hersh announced that the Americans had blown up Nordstream 2.
Russia qualified this as an act of terror and asked the United Nations for an independent international investigation. Simultaneously, it petitioned the International Court of Justice for the envisaged criminal international investigation.
Several figures within the UN, who are sympathetic to the USA, have maintained that while Russia claims the USA committed an act of terror, it does not prove it. However, that was precisely what that international investigation by independent experts was meant for. However, the UN has not yet acceded to Russia's request, who persistently insists to proceed.
Now it appears that the International Court of Justice in The Hague is not acting on Russia's request either and will not investigate the Nordstream explosions. This is particularly strange.
The International Court of Justice has the sole jurisdiction to investigate crimes and warcrimes between nations that are members of the UN. The USA is a member of the UN, Russia is a member of the UN and so are Norway and Germany.
When a petition is filed, the ICJ should open a criminal investigation. Why doesn't it do so ? How independent and sovereign is the ICJ if it uses its jurisdiction in one case but not in another ?
The ICJ consists of 15 judges of as many nationalities who are appointed for a 9-year term, except the president and vice-president who are only appointed for a 3-year term. Five new judges are appointed every 3 years.

The current President of the ICJ ( since 08 February 2021), Joan Donoghue, is an American and former Foreign Affairs employee ( state department ). Some whisper in the corridors that she owes her successive appointments to Georges Soros.
In a recent past Donoghue has already taken harsh positions towards Russia that show little to no dossier knowledge or a certain bias against Russia. On 27 October 2022, she ordered Russia to cease its military action in Ukraine ultimately the very same day. See video and text in this video.
