UK : LIZ TRUSS ABSOLUTELY WANTS TO SEND FIGHTER JETS TO UKRAINE

Writer: WWHISPERWWHISPER

Ukraine is neither a member of NATO nor a member of the EU. So how does Liz Truss come to speak of " our allies" ?

The interference of Europe and the US in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the constant supply of European and US arms, tanks and ammunition to Ukraine is in itself contrary to international rules. The USA, the EU and the UK should, as a matter of principle, stay out of it unless they officially declare war on Russia which they don't or at least not formally. In practice however they most certainly do.

It is a public secret that Ukraine is bursting with NATO troops and mercenaries of a multitude of nationalities including US and UK. Canada and the US have been actively training Ukrainian nationalist Azov Battalions since many years.

The " war " has been going on since at least 2014. Not only for the citizens of the Donbass who have been bombed and killed for over 8 years but also politically.

Putin has so far endured the fact that Ukraine and surrounding countries have been militarily supplied and literally stuffed with US weapons and artillery for many years. The 2015 Minsk accords were aimed at reducing Ukraine's armament and the withdrawing US nuclear weapons. Those agreements have never been executed by the West. Putin issued an ultimatum in early February 2022 and declared that if the guarantees he requested for were not granted he would solve the problem his way. On 22.02.2023, his ultimatum expired without any response from the West. Two days later, i.e. on 24.02.2022, he launched his special military operation and drove into the Donbass at the request of the Presidents of the independent states of Luhansk and Donetsk to " clean up the mess". With success. He will not withdraw from Donbass. Nor, for that matter, do the citizens and leaders of that region want this. They insist on their independence. This also applies to the inhabitants of Crimea who, in 2014, voted by 95% in a referendum to be annexed back to Russia.

Who decides which nation they want to belong to ? The population or a handful who see bread in the economic wealth of this nation ?

If the population of a country overwhelmingly chooses to be independent or to belong to another country with which they have more affinities, the international community should accept this, even if a couple of individuals in the targeted country think otherwise. In any case, they should not interfere.

If the UK now also sends fighter jets to Ukraine, we will end up in exactly the same situation as right before WWII. The rest is history.
