Deep fake technology today is so good that even a trained eye can no longer tell the difference between real and fake. So, when watching video images (also on news broadcasts, in commentary programs and other TV broadcasts), you always have to be careful and check whether the images are real.

To be on the safe side, the next best thing to do is to check on the internet what else you can still find about a certain topic or person. If you find nothing about what you saw, chances are real that you are dealing with a deep fake.
