THE MYSTERY OF ANTARTICA

According to the official narrative, Antartica was " as far as is known, discovered in 1820. That year, by chance, 3 expeditions were organized to the Terra Australis which all reached Antartica within a very short time : Fabian von Bellinghausen ( Russian ), Edward Bransfield ( British ) and Nathaniel Palme ( American ).

In reality, Antartica was already known in the early Middle Ages. There are ancient maps of the world on which this immense continent was already indicated. Not unimportant here is that, according to these maps, Antartica was not covered with ice back then.

A number of other maps, such as a 1531 world map by Oronteus Finaeus, also depict quite correctly the coastline of Antarctica, with a coastline said to have been hidden under ice for thousands of years.

Mercator incorporated Finaeus' map into his Atlas in 1569. He also drew Antarctica on several maps he made himself that year. This gave rise to some controversial theories about a lost civilization that may have mapped the coastline of Antarctica at a time when part of it was free of ice.

Recent findings show that Queen Maud Land and the areas indicated on the Piri Travel Map were ice-free for long periods of time during a period that ended about six thousand years ago.

Until 1945, Antartica was an abandoned continent. After WWII, several countries claimed Antarctica, most notably Argentina and Chile.

The United Kingdom took the issue to the International Court of Justice in 1955. Under the leadership of Belgian Marcel Nicolet, several expeditions were organized in 1956 and 1957. During the same period, several nations built a base on Antartica. So did Belgium who built the King Baudouin base in 1957, now called the Princess Elisabeth.

In 1959, the Treaty of Antartica was signed in which the major powers agreed to refrain from militarization or economic development of Antarctica. This treaty also agreed that Antarctica would be neutral territory and should not be claimed by countries, but a number of countries did not adhere, which has given rise to international conflicts.

To this day, no entry into Antarctica is allowed, with the exception of the headland bordering Chile. Only national scientific expeditions are allowed to stay in their nation's base. What they exactly do over there, what research is conducted, is a closely guarded secret.

Antartica is in a mysterious haze. We know virtually nothing about it or at least not much more than the fact that the continent is covered with a thick layer of ice up to 80 kilometers thick and temperatures as low as - 93.2° have been measured in winter.

However, clandestinely captured images of expedition footage that clearly show that Antartica was inhabited by a highly advanced civilization are circulating. In the attached video you can get a few impressions of what once was there but is hidden from the world.
