In 2020, the Belgian Bureau of Statistics ( Statbel ) reported in detail on Covid deaths, the total number of deaths and the percentage of these due to or with Covid and Covid-related excess mortality. Detailed figures on the total number of deaths due to all other possible conditions were not released.
