The World Economic Forum has been predicting it for years and, incidentally, has made several publicity videos about it. Artificial intelligence will replace human labour. Millions of people will lose their jobs and be replaced by robots and other digital gadgets.
This is being silenced to death by the traditional media that dismisses anyone who propagates the intentions promoted by the World Economic Forum as a conspiracy theorist. It is, however, neither a conspiracy nor a theory but a fact.
Microsoft has recently declared that - on top of the 1,600 employees it has laid off on a daily basis since the beginning of this year, or just about 29,000 people - it is laying off another 10,000 employees because it is investing billions of dollars in ... AI. This has been published by all major media outlets including MSN who, however, are not tripping over it. Business as usual.
With the layoff of 39,000 employees, Microsoft joins other digital giants such as Amazon ( 18,000 layoffs ), Salesforce ( 8,000 layoffs ), Twitter ( 4,000 layoffs ) and Meta ( 11,000 layoffs ), bringing the sad total of employees suddenly losing their jobs to 80,000.
What are the media in our area saying about this ? That, Microsoft is cutting 10,000 jobs worldwide because consumers are holding their hands more on their wallets as the economy is doing bad. In other words, it's actually our fault.
Not a word is said about the large number of layoffs at all the digital giants and the fact that they are investing several billions in AI.
Lying is an art that media know best.
