Bart De Wever, the mayor of Antwerp, has lost all sense of reason. His brakes are faulty. He races like a half-crazed person over the heads of the citizens. After his recent decision to subject all Antwerp residents to the total control of the city regarding the number of visitors they can receive, the duration of the visit (maximum 3 hours), the parking spaces (after prior notification of license plates by the residents), and even 360 credit hours per quarter for parking, he has now also introduced a pricing system for businesses that regularly carry out work in the city and need to park their vehicles. With this permit, they can park on the street for more than 3 hours, exceeding the maximum allowed duration.
