RUSSIA RESPONSE TO INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT ARREST WARRANT

Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry :

" The decisions of the International Criminal Court have no meaning for our country even from a legal point of view; Russia is not a party to the Rome Statute of the ICC and has no obligations. Russia does not cooperate with this body and any arrest 'order' of the International Court of Justice is not legally binding on us."

Correct. Russia has never recognized the International Criminal Court and is therefore not bound by its decisions.

For completeness : The arrest warrant was issued primarily against Lvova-Belova for allegedly moving Ukrainian children to areas under the control of Russia, which upon itself, is a "crime against humanity ",according to a group of UN investigators,

The arrest warrant has been extended to Vladimir Putin because Lvova-Belova works under his auspices and he allowed the relocation of children.

However, the UN investigators are wisely concealing the fact that these are Donbass children whose lives were endangered by the daily bombings by the Zelensky regime. Russia has taken in a total of 2.8 million Donbass citizens who are Russia-friendly and speak Russian. All the citizens in the Republic of Luhansk and Donetsk think and feel likewise.

The hatred of the Zelensky regime towards the citizens of Donbas is so enormous that anyone who crosses the border towards the interior of the country is shot down to die. The only way out was and is towards Russia which the people gratefully accept.

For a good understandig : in 2022 Putin repeatedly requested the international community for a humanitarian corridor to let civilian citizens through but Zelensky refused.

To top it all, not a single parent complains about the abduction or removal of their children. The UN investigators made the accusation of ' crimes against humanity " on the basis of their own observations without any research on the ground and mass questioning of the population involved.

Very peculiar in the whole story is that the United Nations, ruled on March 16, 2023, i.e. the day before the International Criminal Court issued the arrest warrant against Putin and Llova-Belova, that while there are indications of war crimes by Russia, which need to be investigated further, there are no indications of genocide.

The only TV station that has reported on the UN report is Euronews Spain.

See UN video footage in this link :

The Walloon newspaper Le Soir also devoted an article to it on March 16, 2023.

All other media outlets have remained silent about this and only highlighted the arrest warrant against Putin and Lvova-Belova.

The arrest warrant is a joke.
