In 2016, the BBC made a documentary about gravity control, stating that aerospace engineer Dr. Ron Evans approached his superiors at BAE Systems in the late 1980s to inquire about experimenting with a form of gravity manipulation. However, he was ridiculed by everyone at that time, as every respectable theoretical physicist claimed it was impossible.
