NEW CODE OF ETHICS FOR MPS AND MINISTERS: SHUT UP OR RESIGN

At the instigation of Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, the Council of Ministers of 16 June 2023 approved " in small comitee " a new code of ethics that henceforth forbids all ministers of the federal government and all members of parliament and their chefs de cabinet to openly criticize a decision or a government position. This also applies to MPs who are part of the opposition and are thus, by Alexander De Croo, literally gagged.
