We all need to think about the future of our food and how we want to move forward. In the not so distant past, our grandparents harvested what nature provided and they themselves, with a little effort, brought forth.
No strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, melon and pineapple in the winter, but apples and pears. Now it is being imported en masse. We want everything to be constantly available and are out of touch with nature. In fact, it has become so absurd that countries export products they produce themselves and import the same from abroad. Often they export even more than what they import. What good is it for in times when it is so loudly proclaimed that CO2 emissions are warming the earth ?
All over the world awareness is rising that it cannot go on like this. To make this world a better place, our collective behavior has to change. We are the ones who have caused it by allowing it to happen and living on it. But, we can also change it by changing course.
