LIA & CO

Lia is yet another generation AI robot so well manufactured that the difference between human and robot is almost invisible to the naked eye.

Anyone who thinks Lia is a nice gadget ( and no doubt she is ) needs to think a little deeper.

Why have billions been invested for decades in developing artificial intelligence ? Why are humans being imitated to perfection ? Are humans not valuable enough on their own ? Does a shortage need to be filled somewhere or ... must humans be replaced by robots ?

For now, Lia is only meant as an "assistant". However it is not inconceivable but rather plausible that robots like Lia and her successors will be used to do intellectual and manual work, perform much better than the average human and make the living human of flesh and blood completely superfluous (as the World Economic Forum already announced in a promotional video a few years ago).

Should we humans welcome the arrival of AI ? No. AI is the downfall of humanity and everything we know.

Can we, humans, oppose it ? No, there is nothing we can do against the development of AI. However, we can collectively decide NOT to use AI, not to buy products from companies that use AI or worse, use AI robots to replace human staff. Everything starts with you and ends with you.
