FLEMISH GOVERNMENT ILLEGALLY TOOK THOUSANDS OF EUROS OF CARE BUDGET FROM DISABLED PEOPLE

People with disabilities can request money from the government with which they can pay for their support. That money is called the "person-following budget". Jo Vandeurzen (CD&V), who was minister of welfare from 2009 to 2019, introduced these budgets so that people with disabilities can choose more of how they shape their lives themselves.
