On 4 April 2023, the Republic of Finland officially joined the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) as the 31st member state and its national flag will be raised at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
A video published on social media shows the moment US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, in the presence of NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, welcomes Finland to the NATO alliance.
What is wrong with this picture ?
Not Jens Stoltenberg, head of NATO, but Antony Blinken, Secretary of State of the USA, who is ... is one of the members of NATO, welcomes Finland with the words " we can now declare that Finland is the 31st member of NATO ".
Stoltenberg stands there for bacon and beans. Who runs the show at NATO ?
