Recently on the Flemish news channels : drinking water made from pig's blood.

The brewer himself says that this water has less taste than ordinary water because all the minerals have been taken out.

Who invents this? And why ? What is the point ? Is the water shortage so great that even now "solutions " must be sought for the future ?

However, the pig's blood recycling company is far from being the only one to use recycled water without passing through a water treatment plant.

The Californian company, EPIC Onewater Brew, brews beer from shower water and other waste water. The wastewater is recovered from large flat blocks. The wastewater is reportedly purified. How ? That is a secret for now.

EPIC has also developed a " grey water " recycling system that it, the first, operates in San Francisco, where buildings built after 1 January 2022 are required to install onsite water reuse systems. Epic's system at Fifteen Fifty, a 40-storey apartment building in the SoMa neighborhood, is built to recycle 7,500 gallons, or about 30,000 liters per day, or 2.5 million gallons/10 million liters per year, the CEO said.

Is this the future ? First large flat blocks and then also private homes all having their own water recycling system with used water that is reused and reused again to infinity ? At least ... for those who can afford it because such a recycling system will not be cheap ( not in purchase and even less in maintenance products ).
