On 26 September 2022, the Nordstream2 gas pipeline has been blown up.
The Americans and NATO immediately proclaimed out loud that Russia had blown up its own gas pipeline to put Germany without gas.
Why would Russia do such a thing? It was enough to turn off the tap to obtain
the same effect.
On 8 February 2023, investigative journalist and political writer Seymour Hersh published a report on his website stating that on 10 June 2022, the USA, specifically the Biden administration, with the help of Norway, placed explosives under the gas pipeline that were detonated three months later.

Seymour Hersh is a celebrated investigative journalist and a long-time contributor to The New Yorker on national security issues. he has also written for the London Review of Books since 2013.
Hersh first gained recognition in 1969 for exposing the My Lai Massacre and the cover-up during the Vietnam War, for which he received the Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting in 1970. In the 1970s, Hersh covered the Watergate scandal for The New York Times and exposed the clandestine bombing of Cambodia. In 2004, he reported on the US military's mistreatment of prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison. He also won two National Magazine Awards and five George Polk Awards. In 2004, he received the George Orwell Award.
In recent years, Hersh accused the Obama administration of lying about the death of Osama bin Laden and disputed claims that the Assad regime used chemical weapons against civilians in the Syrian civil war. Both statements have generated controversy because of those against whom the allegations were made strongly disputed the claims.
This is no different with Nordstream 2. The White House spokesperson has disputed Hersh's claim and denied any involvement in the explosion.
This should come as no surprise. Of course, the USA is never going to admit that it blew up the Nordstream 2 gas pipeline even though Joe Biden has stated several times during various press announcements earlier on, that he would put an end to Nordstream 2.
Hersh's report is going viral and incidentally, has also been highlighted by the Flemish press.
