CEO OF FACEBOOK, GOOGLE, AMAZON, MICROSOFT AND APPLE SUBPOENAED

Republican Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, has subpoenaed the CEOs of five tech companies to question them about their interactions with the federal government.

They were notified to Timothy Cook, CEO of Apple; Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon; Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft; Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet, Google's parent company; and Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platforms, Facebook's parent company.

Jordan is developing legislation to limit the power of Big Tech to prevent them from deleting, blocking or restricting users in the future.

The claims are part of extensive investigations the House of Representatives Republicans are conducting into the FBI's neglect of oversight of the Biden administration and want to know whether the FBI or other agencies have been pushing the Tech giants to ban or delete users ( this may follow the revelations uncovered during the hearing of former Twitter staff ).

Jordan also subpoenaed the FBI and the Department of Education for documents on FBI interactions with school boards. A subcommittee headed by Jordan held a hearing on the alleged politicisation of the FBI.

It looks like the big clean-up has finally begun after all.
